Time Management & Staying On Top Of Your Workout

With school now back in session, staying on top of your workout regime can be a little bit more difficult. With dropping the kids off at school, sports practices, making dinners, and so-on and so-forth, working out can sometimes be the last thing on our minds. But we all know we don’t feel the best when it happens!

Here are some tips to help with your time management and to stay on top of your workout regime.

Efficiency is Key
Maximize the time you are spending on your workout. When Stacey designed the Full Pedal workout, she was a busy mom of 3 girls. She knows how valuable limited time is, so she wanted to offer a full-body workout that maximized your time most. People walk out of Full Pedal knowing they got a great workout.

Stick With a Workout That Keeps You Motivated
We all choose to workout to stay in both physical and mental shape, and let’s face it, exercise is hard work. However, choose a workout that motivates you. Competition can be a big motivator as well. Full Pedal has instructors that strive to motivate and inspire riders to be the best they can be in and out of the gym, and the Pedal Board can provide those competitive riders a great source of motivation.

Put It On the Calendar
Add your workout to your schedule and stick to it! Reserve that bike – that late-fee/no-show charge can help push you to get there.

Just Do It
You’ve heard it before, “the only bad workout is the one you didn’t do.” We always praise our riders just for walking through the door. Getting there is what matters, once you get on that bike you are moving. Be okay with those days when it took everything you had in you just to get to the studio. It may not be your best workout, but the fact is, you worked out!

Remind Yourself Why You Do It
The part that fuels you. Often times that reminder alone can motivate you to get that workout in. Is it that latte, the clear mind, the endorphin high, that glass of wine, the productivity? Keep your eye on the prize.
